I’m still casting around for the right blog look - something fun, without the overbearing nature imagery you see on most perfume blogs. Something that meets both my technical and aesthetic needs.
For the moment, it’s this. But we’ll see where it goes in the future.

A milestone was hit on May 11th for Magickal Realism: we sold our 1000th item. We are celebrating by bragging here and by continuing to fund the Zicam that keeps my nose clean and healthy for sniffing out new, fun smelly stuff to make. Also, there may have been a Life on Mars marathon involved.
Not only was there the pleasure of seeing the magical counter of 1000 turn on the Etsy page itself, there was the additional honor of being added to the rankings of top Etsy sellers:
So as of May 11, Magickal Realism can report 1000 item sales in the shop, 2578 hearts and so much yet to come.
For the moment, though, I just want to celebrate this milestone and honor the massive amounts of work and sacrifice it’s required to make it happen.

I just wanted to take a moment and introduce Fritz, the first ever Spokeszombie for Magickal Realism Natural perfumery. So far he’s been a delight to work with, but that may be because we keep a bottle of Zombie Repellent in every shot with him.
If you think I’m posting my treasury listings because it’s easier than writing a blog post, you’re absolutely right. I fear I’ve bitten off one heck of a lot, and it’s going to take me some time to chew. But at least I’m not chewing on your brains. Which is why I sell Zombie Repellent.
