During Britney’s first major public breakdown, I tried – and failed – to find a place to send her a fan letter. Although the only song I even liked by her was Lucky, I just felt so bad for her and wanted to send her some kind words to try to heal the massive amounts of (mostly deserved) criticism being heaped upon her. While I’m not known for my tolerance for the stupid, I really felt like her being stupid wasn’t her fault, and I so wanted to write a letter suggesting she drop out of the public eye, go to college, and develop a few thinking skills of her own along the way.
I don’t know why, but I think that B. Spears isn’t all that pea-brained, she’s just surrounded by people who won’t give her an opportunity to be anything else. Her perfume bottle is pretty, anyway, and I just love atomizers – I thought bringing one back was awesome, even if it does have a tassel on the end. (I hate tassels. It’s a thing.)
