Incognito is a super-subtle skin blend - this is one of those you wear to keep your heady little secret to yourself, not the sort that leaves sillage hovering in the room. Inspired by the harvest goddess Demeter who hid in mortal sight when searching for her daughter Persephone, this fragrance contains notes of frankincense, amber, cypress and coriander. It cleaves to your skin as though it’s almost, but not quite, part of your natural body odor.1
I use this oil on my hair once a week to deep-condition it and to stay ahead of split ends. It is mixed in an avocado or jojoba base (by request) and has in it notes of rosemary, coriander and ylang ylang. I’ve had other people use it report attempts to eat their own hair, which I’m hoping was the result of the smell and not because of need for treatment.
